Dilee Interviewed on VOA and FM Stations on the Album and Positivity

Diana “Dilee’s” newly released album is picking up momentum. On September 7, 2017, an interview by Larry London for Voice of America’s, “Border Crossings,” was aired along with two of her songs from the album.  With a worldwide reader/ listener base of 236 million and across the US 45 million, they translate into 44 languages in 100 countries. Eight minutes into Larry’s program, he played Dilee’s track “Shake It (A Cappella) feat Armand Hutton,” which was recently released on her album “With Love”  then interviews her on positivity, no hate and how peace starts with us and within us.  After the interview he played “Afterglow (A Cappella) feat Armand Hutton.” The entire production of both songs have no musical instruments whatsoever. All musical sounds are made from Mr. Hutton’s voice. The interview can be heard by clicking the following link:  Dilee interview on VOA

Also in September, FM stations KSVY 91.3 FM in Sonoma Valley, CA and WINT 101.5 FM / 1330 AM in Willoughby, Ohio, interviewed Dilee about her single “Afterglow (A Cappella) feat Armand Hutton” being playing on the radio across the country and the release of her new album “With Love.” Looks as though the media is right on about Dilee spreading her positive energy everywhere.  USA Today Magazine titled their article about Dilee as  ‘The Soft Warrior Spreads Her Wings,’  a two-page spread for September 2017 about Dilee, her album and how her and team are dedicated in spreading their joy to as many people as they can. The article was written by Susan SurfTone, who expanded her article on Dilee, which was published in the Huffington Post on May 31, 2017.

Diana “Dilee,” a cross-media artist, began her musical career in the San Diego/Los Angeles, California area. Her mixed lineage (50% broadly Southern European, 50% Southeast Asian including Native American ancestry) fostered a strong desire to bring cultures together in an atmosphere of positivity and spirituality. Dilee dedicates all of her music “to the Divine.” “Devotion to our Creator, to me, means embracing and giving the magic of kindness to every living thing as a particle of the all,” says Dilee, “and I believe each one of us is inter-connected, which is why my new promotional T-shirts and sweatshirts are emblazoned with ‘The love in you is the same in me’.”

Dilee’s resume, which includes a Spoken Word album and several single releases garnered her voting member status in NARAS (Grammys®). These releases coupled with two earlier unreleased musical productions with both Ike Turner and Ike Turner Jr. were the beginning of her musical career.

Being a part of the voting process and being a positive role model are responsibilities Dilee takes seriously. She believes in goodness, equality, love, and the belief that we as human beings should strive to touch each other’s lives in a positive way. Her music is one way of bringing the world’s essence together, transcending all cultural and national borders in order to celebrate life.

Dīlee’s Registered Trademark

As of January 10, 2017, Dīlee’s trademark was officially registered. Her commercial merchandise from her Kickstarter campaign bearing her trademark has commenced distribution upon request prior to the album being sent out.  Sometime toward the end of May to early June, all of her backers will receive a signed limited edition CD prior to commercial release. This special Kickstarter pre-release will have more songs than the commercial album expected to be released later in the summer and subsequently submitted to the 60th Grammy® awards.  Her team has decided to release several of the tracks as singles and possibly an EP in addition to the commercially released album.

Dīlee is Headed to Nashville for Final Vocals

Dīlee is headed to Nashville next week to record her final vocals for her album and additional new music releases. She has already collaborated with Grammy nominated artist Armand Hutton for an a Cappella version of her “Holding Onto Nothing (But Love)” song which is set to be released soon. After her successful Kickstarter campaign, she is looking forward to delivering everything by May 2017, including signed limited edition albums to everyone who pre-ordered them. She will be releasing all of her new songs in phases prior to commercially releasing her album. Many have already indicated they can’t wait for her highly anticipated new singles and album.

Dīlee at the 58th Grammys

Dīlee enjoyed seeing live many of the peers she voted for who ended up winning the Grammys this year. Caught on camera to be televised overseas, Dīlee and her Grammy friends were proud to rally with National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (Grammy Academy).  Dīlee is an advocate with Academy who works hard in supporting artists rights on Capitol Hill. She is also a believer in spreading the news about how the telecast recognizes music talent from around the globe in the hopes artists can continue in making a living in giving great music to the world.
